Drug and alcohol testing

Employees who come to work impaired with alcohol or performance-impairing drugs in their system have a high risk of causing an accident or injury to themselves, their co-workers or the general public. Their overall job performance is also adversely affected as well as your company’s image.

As part of an employer’s duty of care, it is a requirement to minimise or eliminate workplace hazards. Many employers have chosen to initially focus on education and counselling services, gradually working towards a possible testing regime.
